Ep. 23:New York State of Mind: How to Lose a Business in 10 Months
New York politicians are literally begging businesses, in this case Goldman Sachs, not to leave. As all abusers do, New York has taken its job creators for granted, pummeled them financially, and is now crying crocodile tears to keep them as they head out the door. We say good for Goldman Sachs, and any other business, big or small, leaving a high tax/regulation jurisdiction for a friendlier one (just don’t vote the same way you did when you get there). Because after all, when states compete, you win!
