On May 24, 2022 a mass shooting took place in Uvalde, Texas. Since then, the predictable discussion across the political spectrum has been raging as feckless political hacks have sought to use the tragedy to score political points on their opponents. Their recycled and regurgitated talking points are clearly getting us nowhere. Instead, we think a societal look in the mirror is in order. In a myriad of ways, we have allowed our society to become so broken that it is producing broken people at an alarming rate, and our most innocent are bearing the brunt of their destruction. We discuss where we think this society has gone wrong in the hopes of finding ways to fix it. Please join us in this conversation.
