Despite the overwhelming amount of bad news inundating us on a seemingly daily basis, causes for optimism are often just beneath the surface. In the last couple weeks researchers have discovered ways to make internet speeds millions of times faster without the need for any upgrades to our current infrastructure and they have also discovered a massive liquid helium reservoir under Minnesota, which is a key component of several technologies/applications that make all of our lives better. And, although this news is a bit more dated, within the last couple years, researchers have potentially discovered how to generate “smart” stem cells from fat cells which could help solve many human health problems. We discuss all three discoveries in this episode to remind you that although Black Pills seem to be more abundant, White Pills taste better.
